Do you think it's necessary to survive in our harsh world to get political? Or express our own political views?

I used to be a guy that believed there was no point in getting involved in politics, because my vote doesn't count for much. It's like a grain of sand falling on a beach, and unless you're in a position of power by being a politician or someone who can influence a lot of people, it really doesn't matter.

But seeing all the decisions that were made from about 2010 to now... they have completely ruined Canada and many other first world countries. I think it's time to be more active about the decisions being made for the country... share my actual opinions online, show the truth happening in the world, and try to get people to see the light.

Sure, you can be neutral when it comes to politics and just ride the wave and let it take you wherever, but I don't just want to be taken by the current. I want the best kind of decisions to be made for myself and society. It really frustrates me seeing taxpayer money being spent so stupidly and certain decisions being made, so I'll do whatever I can. I would honestly love if people revolted against these corrupt governments and make the country great again.

I used to believe we had to be neutral or center even at the expense of our own interests however I now stand firmly that we can’t afford to be a fence sitter when there are issues that need fixing also we can’t afford to not act as our govt does the bidding of the elites everyday.
Whether you like it or not, you might not be interested in politics however politics will always have an interest in you, your life, family, etc. Can’t afford to sit on the sidelines in that way, that is my philosophy now during these trying times.

Yes. Showing disapproval for uncontrolled immigration is important because politicians love to creep in butts of industrial bosses but on other they want we re-elect them. When the voices for deportations are loud they will start to deport at least parasitic and pathologic brown third worldlers.

I have made strides with at least ten people since 2016 over intense political debate. That doesn't sound like a lot but if you're passionate about how politics affect our lives, having uncomfortable conversations is necessary. For that to happen I don't think it should be a forced conversation of course. If two or more people are willing to have at it, they should.

Anytime I have in my personal life, I have started the conversation with grace and say we will prob scream at some point but let's remember we love each other, and the passion is because we both think we're right and we both want the world to be a better place.

Online, I try to have grace until someone seems to be acting in bad faith. Then I'm not so nice. There have been times where I have gladly apologized if I've misunderstood someone and gone over the top. Lol. I am passionate, but can admit if I'm wrong, made a mistake, and need to apologize.

Politics is mostly bullshit. Follow the money... always. See who is doing what with it and why and how. For 90% of politicians, money is their master and power is what they seek. See which group they call "home".

I find that most people mistakenly call their belief system, which includes all moral/ethical, spiritual if any, justice, fairness, etc., their political beliefs. To my mind, politics is what runs governments, not individuals. However, when your ideology BECOMES your identity, that's when you're screwed and lose most all your credibility.

Politics is just a fancy way to describe how we deal with each other especially on a large scale.

So it’s best to have opinions and dare to have them challenged and contested to see if they have merit

I never did. I hate that shit! Then when Trump was running the first time I started seeing people who were checking Trump out begin to be harassed for the way they may vote. That pissed me off. This is America and a person's rights are everyone's business when they are being violated.

more like its inescapable. no matter what you do even if you don't intend to make something political it still ends up being so. whatever beliefs you hold or even what you choose to do with your free time says a lot about where you fall on the spectrum. So necessary? more like its unavoidable.
