Well, when the right winger is like you speak of illegal immigration, they failed to mention the fact that on in their opinion the illegality consists of someone failing to fill out some forms. This is not even a crime of any magnitude, but instead simply an infraction much like getting a jaywalking ticket. The right wing has a problem with immigration, legal or illegal because they really do not want anyone but white people living in the United States. There is really in an operational manner. No such thing as a white person who is also an illegal immigrant does defined by the right wing. So to answer your question, I think that immigration in general isn't that positive for the United States because it tends to stabilize the labor market and it keeps the culture genetically healthy and it provides new and interesting innovations for all of us.

Net negative. They cost taxpayers billions to support them and buy them food clothing , free healthcare and other benefits. In return citizens are being killed and assaulted by them. They depress wages and drive up the cost of housing. Americans voted overwhelmingly to deport them all.

Illegal immigration is a crime. Any country that doesn't control its borders is not a sovereign nation. It's just free use land for anyone who wants to wander in.

Controlled legal immigration has always been a facet of US policy for economic growth. And it has served the USA well for 250 years.
