Probably but I had it clear as day when I used to be on Threads. I made a comment about the British weather (very hot at certain times of the year) and how some people can’t hack it because our homes don’t have AC. This one user didn’t like my comment (I can’t remember what I wrote) so she went onto my profile, went right down to my first post I made and left a bitter comment. It made me laugh.
At the end of the day, we ALL have an opinion, some we agree with, some we don’t. There’s no need to get bitter about it. It’s all words on a screen. Doesn’t matter.

Most attacks result from opinions regarding political, religious, scientific (oddly?) or environment posts. They are rarely backed by facts to refute or challenge the opinion that has triggered them, and I rarely form or post an opinion on those subjects that aren't fact based. I'm not talking about opinions on art, or food, or music or travel, as those are all about personal tastes. So yes, it happens a bit, mostly from triggered magats, racists, misogynists, misandrists and religious folks.

Oh yeah, quite a few times. I have blocked a few people who showed utter ignorance by engaging in personal attacks just because they disagreed with an opinion I shared.

I welcome disagreement if it is respectful and well reasoned. But I don't need belligerent trolls in my life.

That’s how it all starts off then they’re checking on you then they don’t like something else you wrote then they start trolling you. But it’s mostly because they have some Internet crush on you so they find themselves attached to you in someway

How about every day or so. It is surprising how these people so seethe with hatred. If you look at recent political posts, it seems like some of them have burned out. But there are still a few stragglers. They know who they are.
