Some probably do, but not likely all of them or even a majority. What people who value a good work ethic understand that the crybabies who just constantly cry about not being given enough don’t seem to understand is that in the rare cases in which no amount of hard work and innovation impresses your boss, there are plenty of other bosses who are looking for those qualities! Quit and go find them! Staying with a greedy deadbeat employer and thinking you can force them to reconsider their business model is just like thinking you can change a cheater by staying with them. When employers repeatedly lose their best help to other employers, THAT is when they realize that they have to take a different approach. Not because their employees stick around, whine and, worse, slow walk their job and ignore their responsibilities thinking that will make the boss want to pay them more. Better yet, start your own company! Find out just exactly how easy it is finding people who are ACTUALLY assets to your business. Well let's see. You're not a slave. When an employer offers a salary and you agree to it, you felt like the pay was equal to the labor you're being asked to provide. So you're only underpaid because you accept less than you're worth. Either way it's your decision.

Yeah, no. It's not that simple. Just because you accept a certain pay rate, doesn't mean that you are "agreeing" that is what the work is worth. I've seen this same argument before countless times, and it's absolutely ridiculous. The fact is that the overwhelming majority of people are no position to be rejecting jobs because they don't feel the pay matches their worth. We need money to live on, period. Most people know squat about starting their own business, and that in itself requires a lot of money too. If you know of a way to get your bills paid without earning money, I'd love to hear it.
