Just based on the numbers, the men's team finishing 16th would give the women's team more money than the women's team would give the men if the women's team won the world cup. The people agreeing to this nonsense are retarded.

Furthermore, in the 2023 women's world cup, the prize structure was 19% of revenue. That in comparison to the 2026 men's world cup which had a prize structure of 6% of revenue.

Most teams around the world donate their earnings to help certain causes.


If the US men’s team chose to donate to the women as a form of charity then it would be ok.
