What do you think that the female soccer players of the women's soccer team have the same salary as the male?

There are many ignorant people, including submissive men who flatter women, who think that female soccer players should earn the same as male soccer players, women's soccer is boring and mediocre, only because they are women, they are applauded at anything do, like a child. You will never see a male model, for example, complain that he is paid less than a female model.

They must bring in the same amount of money and audience as the male. I'll go even further, and say that the groups focused around women's football must decide if they want to cater to the male audience or want to make more women interested.

I don't know the US well enough to talk about them, but I certainly know that football isn't as prevalent as other actual American sports. I'm in Brazil, and saying that football rules is an understatement. Here, there's been an actual push to popularize female football, and it just felt forced because of how artificial it was and how unwilling its supporters are to recognize its limitations and receive criticism. Female matches occur in better schedules and with free tickets, yet can't bring enough audience, therefore, less sponsors. Feminist influencers around here literally asked people to turn on their TVs to play the match even if they weren't going to actually match it. The strategy behind them was basically force content down the general audience's throat and shame whoever criticize them and point their mistakes and shortcomings, so bad PR that kills the product in the long run.

It doesn't make sense to me. I'm unsure why people are having a hard time understanding why women's sports athletes like soccer or the WNBA don't get paid as much as men.

The answer is real simple, they don't sell tickets. They don't get big sponsors because they don't sell tickets.

Women don't show up to these games, so the women playing don't make a lot of money for the clubs, therefore their salaries are lower. Women have only got themselves to blame, this is not the fault of men.

Women were on par and/or outselling men for years in soccer tickets and merchandise for years because they kept winning while men's teams kept getting eliminated.

This is one of the few sports besides things like maybe ice skating and gymnastics where you can say that. It was well deserved.

Maybe in America mostly because here the big sports are basketball, football, hockey, baseball but in Europe the salaries for male soccer players are huge because those leagues generate billions indivually. US soccer teams have to pay male players more just to keep them because they are in competition for players with not only the richest football 1st leagues in the world but the 2nd and 3rd league. Any US player that's any good is playing in Europe and its the same with players in central& Sout America as well as African players and Asian players. Here in the US the women's soccer team were previously offered the same pay deal as the men but refused it, this deal if they had taken it would have greatly enriched them when they won the world Cup, in fact the women's soccer team were getting paid more than the men were but claimed they weren't. In England their female national soccer team get paid more than the men who receive no money at all.
