Because, as Trump put it, Iranians are filthy, horrible, disgusting people. We're the guardians of democracy, after all
I think nuclear proliferation is wrong, but I also think the double standard applied to Iran is wrong
Iran is one of the cradles of civilization. It has remarkable languages, architecture, and carpets. It has the right to possess nuclear weapons to ensure its own security

The people of Iran are not crazy, but its leaders are willing to kill the entire planet in the name of Allah. Iran with nuclear weapons would be worse than my cat driving a fighter jet.
Well, US foreign policy is against any new countries getting nukes. With Iran, we have a country that is hostile to the US and its allies. And it's run by a bunch of crazy people from a middle-aged death cult created by a pedo. It's bad enough Pakistan and North Korea have them. We don't need any more loose cannons with a button.
I don't think Iran is trying to get nuclear weapons, however. The US is just butthurt that their dictatorship was overthrown in the 70s and they've wanted regime change ever since. The nuke issue is just a good excuse for a war.
Learn some history.
The Shah was overthrown in 1953. He controlled Iran for 12 years. Mossadegh was the PM elected by the Shah. The US then supported a counter coup against the PM to reinstate the Shah. It wasn't the US dictator.
It's interesting. Its a clear case of liberal rebranding and islamist lies.
1. The US never installed the Shah. He already held power for years. It was the Shahs position to confirm a Prime Minister. He even was forces to remove on in 1952 due to public outcry.
2. Mossadegh was not democratically elected. They didn't have elections like ours, and he was confirmed by the Shah (twice). He removed tge powers of Parliament to gain complete power. Its ironic the same forces that supported him (the mullahs) were the same to depose him, and also launch the 1979 revolution and blame the US.
3. US involvement is questioned because it's debated what impact it had. Mossadegh was losing much support due to his policies, and the Shah (being forced out of the country by him) returned to remove him after an initial failed coup.
The claim the US inserted anew dictator is both a liberal and islamist lie that has no basis in reality.
It wouldn't concern me.
The USA, Russia, China, France, UK, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea have nukes. The U. S. probably has nukes deployed in other countries.
For moral reasons, Iran never wanted to have nuclear weapons until recent attacks began. But there is no reason why it should be barred from having defensive nuclear capabilities as a deterrent against Israeli and American aggression. That's why North Korea developed them.
And you know as well as I that if they ever got a nuke, it would be planted at Wall Street or Times Square as soon as it got the nuke. They are totally out of their minds; they will kill thousands of their own people to kill one infidel. They have already murdered over 30,000 protestors in their own country
Iran mostly full of good people who let themselves be ruled by fanatical tyrants. We’re done with this “ayatollah” bullshit, nothing more than a bunch of self-righteous cocksuckers using religion to claim power. The ayatollahs will continue to get whacked until they are all dead.
Iran has been developing its nuclear weapons program with Pakistan's scientists for over 35 years. It's too late to stop them.
They openly threaten the existence of the US. For 47 years they have targeted the US, and in their own Parliament they pledge the death of the US.
Do you support that?
I just don’t think they should exist, period.
Well maybe it has something to do with Iran vowing to destroy Israel and the US, and denying equality to non-Muslims, and racial discrimination against Afghans.
What happened to the Left wanting to ban the bomb?
Iran is a terrorist nation an d the Iranians do not care if they die.
Because it prioritises killing the enemy over protecting itself.
The point of nukes is for mutual destruction to be a deterant, not the preferred outcome.
Cause fuck Iran.
