Why are right-wing men so Disturbed by gay people?

Men on the right seem to be unable to tolerate gay people and women on the right don't seem to care about it one way or the other. Why is that?

As others have said, it's guilt about their own homosexual urges. They lash out in anger because they know they will be ostracized by their own if they give in. What weirds me out is the republican men who have come out as gay but still support a group who would see their marriages torn apart and made to feel inferior as their rights and protections are stripped away. It's as if they are hoping they can be "one of the good ones" and avoid the backlash of the right wing.

I'll share this because it proves an implicit point that explains why gays are so often trying to be superior.

My sister is over a decade older than me and she entirely bottle fed me and did everything mother was supposed to. But at some point, when i was age 5 i was old enough to form memories and she was forcing me to kiss her. Like hard kiss her. And that might have been why 100% all of my crushes had to be at least 2 years older than me. Like a mommy issues thing. And she talked to me about me "getting hard" and jokingly said "daddy" back then that i thought was just a joke and didn't grasp why... because he molested her and only decades later did i find out when mother tried to report it to police.

But the point is that i thought i am healthy for being attracted to older women. Now when i feel the pain, i allow my body and heart to naturally tell me "molestation is evil..." basically somatic trauma discharge. And i legitimately do not anymore have this requisite that my body always told me is natural, i truly did not get aroused by anyone younger than me. I always had this rationalization "women younger than me are just too childish and immature" and i 100% believed it. Now my nervous system stopped telling me this sentence.

So where i am getting at is homos are often either directly molested or just hear words, i think words are enough to traumatize.

If they're gay because of atrazine exposure or whatever other pathways, then they will not be acting superior. But if they are acting superior, it is because the gayness is caused by trauma. Trauma by nature wants to reinflict itself onto others. There are many schools of thought about how trauma works. One is that, fear is helping us survive, trauma helps us adapt to the environment, and if a newborn's nervous system perceives that the world wants everyone to be gay, then not only will he convincingly fake being gay but'll also try to make others gay because that will ensure their survival in such a world.

Seems extreme, I've not seen that level, I've tolerated gaymen, some dont even know are.

but I've spent time w gay guys and it was a little… creepy knowing all were gay… the energy is different.

then there is the reality they somehow thinknits a good idea to put their thing up another guys thing.

its just gross thinking about so i avoid looking if there's an add or such. Most right i know think something is wrong, accept the people and hope they find their way. Were they born that way, traumatized that way, or environmentally poisones that way?

They dont nor do ask them. Someone tells me, they say they are, or the energy is weird.

I worked for gay couple and it was uncomfortable at times, glad when i finished job and left but couldnt help but think the one needed a therapist.

What do the receptional activities concern you so much, and what degrees and qualifications do you have to decide that somebody needs a therapist?

Q2. Not qualified but have experience w people and can observe when there's problems sufficient to warrent introspection. I saw the emotions and conflicts at home environment.

So you think that your layman's impressions of people are sufficient to decide whether or not they are therapists. Is that correct?

I trust my instincts learned from life experiences. The problem is people dont know why they do whst they do.
Therapist alone won't resolve but is part of figuringnout the puzzle of life.

I've had enough validation along the way post learning enough about early life trauma and its impacts. Nothing is 💯 because csnt jnow evrrything.

Challenge is humans dont want to change, they will defend and deflect to defend what they know which is what they believe and that is structured in emotional development. until they see a problem, won't explore.

And why do you have the doubts? I would agree w you when i was < 40 and disnt know how people work.

If you only trust those e credentials in a field, you should state that. I've known too many credentialed that were not helpful. People w real life experience that turned it to wisdom know.

They are compensating for the shame they feel about their own same-sex attraction. Another "pray the gay away" pastor was arrested for trying to arrange a meeting with a fourteen-year-old boy.
