I had a friend in college. she was the roommate of my roommate's girlfriend. We were really good friends but I know she wanted it to be more than that.
We did not see each other for a long time. I was having a lot of turmoil in my life. It was not until a few weeks before I got married that I got a letter from her. She wanted to know if I was okay.
I wrote back that I was getting married which was the truth but I sort of just blew her off.
She married a real loser and a couple of years later he murdered her. I still have dreams about this.
