What is it with white people sucking at contacting their immediate and extended family past 18, compared to Latinos and Asians?

Once white people turn 18 and if they move out of the house they hardly contact their immediate and extended family and spend time with them. Whereas Latinos and Asians regardless if they live with them or not have many get togethers or at least contact them a lot regardless of anything.

We're taught from a young age to be independent and self sufficient. Also, at least in my family, the family generally spreads and relocates making get togethers more difficult. I do think you see more get togethers if the families are predominantly female, as they tend to be the more social gender.

You are wrong that it is gender based. Many people that are Latinos, etc that are even males socialize with their families a lot and most are manly men. Also most of the time they still do it even if they don't need anything from them and are independent.

You're 100 percent right. Many white people just don't have the same level of family values as Latino families do. A lot of us actually don't even get along with our families. Can't say I've noticed this with Asians, but in my experience I've found Mexican families to have the strongest family bond of anyone.
