I would and did hit an abusive parent on several occasions.

It depends on what you're trying to achieve if you're trying to teach him and show him that it's wrong to hit your mother or you or anybody else while being drunk or out of control no two wrongs do not make a right

You cannot lose control when he's doing what he's doing That Nobody anywhere

I just answered another one of your questions when he's out of control like this I asked you do you have a brother you have to read the other question my answer in the other question

If he loses control and then you lose control if he hits you and you hit him where does that end up not in a very good place

You have to learn how to bite your tongue you have to learn how to control yourself at all times control your mind your mouth your body language at all times if you want him to change you're going to have to teach him either that or you're going to have to call the police on them but do not hit him because he's hitting somebody it's not going to solve anything it's going to make it 100 times worse

Read my other answer in your other question it's not going to be overnight that it happens it's going to take some time and it's going to take you a lot of patience because I can see right now you're pissed off and look at what he's taught you

It's not meant to be that way he's drunk has no control you are sober you have to learn control over every part of your body

I'd hit one , no problem , whether I knew them or not.

I've done same to school teacher from my era , and I'd do it again if I found some more of the offenders.

Morally valid? In my book certainly.

Any person who thinks they can beat / attack / smack or verbally abuse a child deserves it , be they the parent or otherwise.

The Ole " It didn't do me any harm " is complete bullshit = you were abused.

I generally believe that violence is only justified to defend yourself. For everything else there are other solutions.

Knowing you, and assuming you're as crazy as you seem, I can't just take your side or trust your version of the story.

That said, I still think it's wrong in any case. And for someone who's especially attracted to people over 50, acting that way would be hypocritical.
