Some good news I guess. I passed a security guard background check. I only had two misdemeanors from over 10 years ago: stalking and harassment. This likely means I can pass a background check to start my owk security company in the near future too.

Nope. Like I told you before, we've hired a murderer before. Every company has different standards and different requirements. Like in ours, we dont hire people like you because our officers are required to not only be relatively active but they need a degree of mental toughness and have no known reason for clients personnel to fear their safety.

Theirs background check that takes an hour. There's also background checks that take a week. Is it a grocery store or a bank?

I do not know what it is like whre you live but here the background test is basically if you have a pulse.

No it proves that some companies use cheap, inadequate background checks. Thank you, lucky stars, for that!

I do not have an opinion about it, but I think any reasonable background check would have revealed your background. Apparently it didn't. If I were you, I would be very careful around your coworkers since it will be unclear as to what they might or might not have done.
