Every child learns to remember the names of the Great Lakes of North America with the word HOMES, for Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie and Superior.
Renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America makes the memory cue HOMES no longer work.
Instead, SHAME, for Superior, Huron, America, Michigan and Erie, becomes the way to remember the names of the Great Lakes.

Great news: it’s absolutely STILL Lake Ontario. Just like it’s still the Gulf Of Mexico. Executive Orders are not law/they are merely directives given by the President extending only to arms of the Executive Branch. For example, the President can sign an executive order for the FBI to focus on international terrorism threats or something like that. Executive Orders are directives for how executive branch agencies do their jobs. The most important point: Executive Orders ONLY extend to executive branch agencies. They basically just tell “the President’s men” how to do their jobs under said President; setting a tone or mood, if you will.
Just randomly deciding to call longstanding geographical locations something different out of spite for a neighboring country is NOT covered. There is no Lake America in existence😂
I am not in favor of renaming the geographical features around us.
But that should depend. Atlantic is not a country but china sea or japan or ontario is a LIE for shared international waters.

Once the Mango Molester drops dead and we get a sane President in 2029, the first official order of business will be " undo everything Trump did", including:
* Rolling back the stupid name changes he put in place
* Get the park land back
* Get his name off any Federal buildings * Impeach and remove Thomas & Alito for receiving bribes, Kavanaugh for lying during his hearing. Force Roberts out.
* Appoint 2 new liberal leaning judges, leaving Amy and Gorsuch to suffer.
* If the adjudicated rapist still happens to be alive, arrest and try him for his involvement in the Epstein cases - all of the ones involving him.
* Seize as much of his personal assets that equates to what he stole from taxpayers and use it to get help to the millions of individuals, families and vets of all kinds who desperately need it.
Google may have changed it for now, but it's temporary.

The shame is to replace the First Nations name of Ontario which represents the native tribes of the area as do most of the other names. It appears a ploy to distract as did the Gulf of Mexico idiocy and his feeling that he has to put his brand on something else, build an arch or he won't be remembered as a great man.
I was going to sit down and come up with a way to remember the new Great Lakes but you beat me too it. SHAME works for me.

@Cidknee Tell us, magat man - what exactly is hateful when you call someone out for their behavior and describe them accurately. He's got hair and skin the color of Cheetos, and he thinks he's "the Chosen One", if not actually Jesus. The hatred directed his way has been earned, and though we try to temper it, the task is overwhelming.
