I believe there are singular entity evolutions each day and for most humans on our planet.

When you lift weights, and grow a new muscle, that is evolution.

When you diet and lose body fat, that is evolution.

When you study math and become better with numbers, that is evolution.

When you learn a new language and become better after two years then you were your first day studying it, that is evolution.

When you learn to be compassionate for others, after a dog showed you compassion, that is spiritual evolution.

When you stop helping strangers after getting robbed by one, that is evolution.

We evolve all the time.

No. Not without eugemics or genetic engineering.

Modern medicine and technology allows people to compensate for any genetic weakness they may have and procreate, they then pass these genetic weaknesses on to their offspring whereas in the natural world these genetic weaknesses would have killed them off or prevented them from finding a mate.

Even something simple as short eyesight. There used to be a real stigma about wearing glasses right up to 00s. But prior to the invention of glasses short eyesight would have been a real hindrance to being a productive member of soceity.

Again? Evolution is a continuous process. We evolved during the plague years -- people who were susceptible to the plague died, people who were more resistant survived. That's evolution.
