Who do you honestly think life is more favorable toward men or women?

Men are often expected to be strong, provide, protect, make money, handle rejection, and keep going even when they're struggling inside. A man can be lonely, broke, unemployed, or emotionally exhausted and still be told to “toughen up.” 😔 Sometimes people notice what a man can provide before they notice how he's actually feeling.

But women have serious struggles too. We think about our safety when walking alone, worry about strangers, and hear heartbreaking stories about stalking, assault, abuse, and violence. 💔 Even in relationships, we can love someone deeply while still having to wonder whether they could become controlling or dangerous.

We're also sometimes judged for how we dress, behave, work, date, or raise our children. And yes, workplace discrimination against women still exists in some situations, even though things have improved. At the same time, men face their own pressures, discrimination, loneliness, violence, and difficulty asking for emotional support.

That's what makes this question so complicated. Sometimes we're so busy proving that our gender has it harder that we forget the other side is hurting too. ❤️‍🩹

Maybe life doesn't necessarily favor one gender. Maybe men and women simply experience different kinds of struggles and different kinds of advantages.

One person's pain doesn't erase another person's pain.

So what do you think? Does life generally favor men, women, or neither and what makes you feel that way? 🤔💭
