Does the holdout juror who wants to put Lindsey Clancy in prison require protection because he is really in danger, or is this just performative?

DeSantis thinks so and has offered him protection in Florida. I absolutely disagree with this juror, but nobody who served on a jury or helped make decisions this difficult should be threatened. Apparently, this man has been threatened. I am surprised that DeSantis is offering him help, given the fact that the juror is Black. I guess the fact that he's also a Republican and probably a Trump voter helped. That we can finally find things that seem to override skin color - though probably temporarily-in the minds of Trumpers is miraculous, assuming, of course, that Trumpers really have minds.

Right and left is not about the color so much, it's about behavior, maybe culture on the right side. I don't claim to understand left thinking. This jury is about opinions.

I don't have an opinion on this case. Of what I know, there is an obligation to protect the juror (s) from others.

The challenge with jury's is people can have opinions based upon their beliefs, training, and upbringing. So conflict ensues. Logical reasoning won't cut through some of that. Try cutting through Israeli and Palestinian/Gaza with logic... it's not logic, it's emotion and beliefs. The judge instructions as well, are relevant.

Good luck to them all, glad I'm not on that one, and don't worry, there will be another trial.

I am much more about avoiding these scenarios that lead to the deaths than I am finding guilt/not guilt. When I write out here, that's usually my intent... unless I'm being mischevious. Little can be gained from jail... is she a hazard to others or herself? Some relief for the father, and relatives maybe... unless they forgive her. What reconditioning does jail trying to achieve? What trying to say to society... don't go nuts and kill your kids? Most parents knows you will be pushed... from a local leader "you are going to want to kill your kids sometimes, throw them out of the house." Not all kids, but some, will drive ya nuts. If already unstble, it's dangeous.

There's other complexities... like would you allow the woman to have more kids to replace the others?

I have opinions I'll keep to myself as I've not followed the trial.

I'll bet you some Porsche parts nothing changes from this, which is the real crime.

Regardless how you feel about the jurors view, he is entitled to anonymity and the protections being a juror gives. Journalists should not be doxxing him, period. Protection is the right thing, given the brainwashed TikTok brain supporters the murder somehow has.
