American fairness scale is even more rigid because you’re considered DARK even if the scale measures you as lighter because of your caste/race.

”That’s a uniformly dark race” is often heard despite the person performing well on the skin fairness test.

They don’t care about redheads (the lightest girls) so it’s not about liking what’s familiar. These are often stereotyped as ugly.

Americans are extremely focused on looks, regardless of any of those categories, and American women care way more about looks in a person than men do. It's so bad that they will even exclude people in a group because they don't look like their ideal person, they're not very attractive, etc.

Americans don't care quite as much about race as some other cultures do because we have a ton of interracial dating here. Although white people and white skin are still esteemed as the highest or most beautiful, but especially white women. That doesn't make white women bad, but they do know this and try to use it to their advantage. And not sure what you're talking about but redheads are seen as some of the top beauties, and they often tend to have big boobs.

I don't think weight is that big of a deal here, seeing as lots of guys are with big women, and vice versa. Hell, even "ssbws" are fetishized by a lot of dudes.

Skin bleaching is heavy in India too, not just Korea. Indians probably hate dark skin more than anyone.

The world with beauty standards in America is something else, it's a very cruel topic to get into, looks regardless of what anyone says, plays a lot in attraction but at the same time I feel like looks shouldn't matter but that is how today's society is. Everyone has their own preferences.
