I would not volunteer to serve on the military firing squad, but I did serve as an official witness for an execution in Florida in 1985.
electric chair?
That's right.
I would not volunteer but I would serve if selected
Everyone should know that, in a typical firing squad, not every shooter has live ammunition. Every shooter may shoot, but only a few will actually fire bullets.
No but I doubt they'll have any shortage of volunteers in the military. But do they need volunteers? The military runs on orders and if you cannot kill you shouldn't be in the army.
Honestly, no. I don’t think I could live with being directly involved in taking someone’s life, even if it were legally ordered. 😕
