Are people really unaware of what rights transgender people lack?

I see some say things like "what's rights don't they have". Are people really not aware of the answer to that question? It's easy to answer if one looks.

Some of the respondents on this thread are as ignorant as the strawmen they think they're burning. Okay, so here's the deal.  I don't think the concept of transgenderism should exist.  The people? What's done is done. I'm going to make a pretty bold claim though.  I think that I, the traditionalist Catholic arch-conservative, have more compassion for these people than their rainbow flag-waving cheerleaders; I really do.  Such people are clearly not at peace with who they are, whether it's because of how they were raised, the friends they had, the media they consumed, or if there are certain natural dispositions which make them more susceptible. What they need though is  genuine  love and compassion, and the most merciful, loving, and compassionate thing to do though is to  tell them the truth, to correct them.  And no, that doesn't necessarily mean smack them over the head and say "no, you're really a man!" If someone is fundamentally disturbed about who they are, but have no true knowledge or experience of what it means to be the opposite sex, and if they don't naturally have the biology, neurology, or physiology of such, how is it  NOT  better to help them conform their mind, heart, and will to that which they do have? The alternative, as I see it, is to allow them to  continue searching for something they will not find. Think of it like this. If a pretty, sweet 120-pound 17-year-old girl starves herself to 80 pounds soaking wet because the dumb, hot, popular b*tch at school thinks she's fat and ugly or she spends too much time on Instagram, is it compassionate to encourage or allow her to continue vomiting after every meal that she actually eats? Or if someone thinks bad guys are after them, waiting around every corner, is it compassionate to maintain the illusion? Or a grown, capable adult thinks he or she is still a baby? The irony is that a lot of the same people calling guys like me idiotic transphobes are the same ones who will tell a young, white man who is depressed because he can't find a job or a girl that he's just a bitter incel who just needs to move over and let the women take charge because his time of dominance is over. And I wasn't going to mention God or the Bible, but since you did... does God make mistakes or does He not?  The talking point I've heard often is that if a man is gay, "God doesn't make mistakes". But transgenderism more or less argues the opposite, so which is it? I will gladly argue that they should have the right to be free from harassment, bullying, or other such things, but it seems to me that the main "right" they and their supporters are most interested in is that to my full approval and support.  I do not give it.

People who oppose transgender rights or believe there should be restrictions on their ability to transition successfully are biased idiots. They are hateful creatures who fear what they don't understand. They are also the kind who would limit others rights if they could but throw a fit if someone messed with their own rights which is hypocritical.

They use fear tactics like "oh we are protecting the children" when in fact they are hurting them even more and driving up suicide rates for trans youths which ultimately is their end goal, to get rid of trans people as a whole. They have been fed this hatred their whole lives and project it on a marginalized group just to feel better about themselves. It's sick.

As for what they have lost, Healthcare is among the top. They have also lost the ability to use the correct bathroom for how they identify, in some states, them being charged with a felony for using the correct bathroom for how they identify. All this does is put transwomen at risk from being assaulted in men's bathrooms and puts cis women at risk because transmen, who absolutely look like men, normalize men entering women's restrooms. What's gonna stop a cis guy from entering women's bathrooms now and claiming he's a transman?

It has also put a target on cis women's backs if they don't conform to traditional standards of beauty and dress/style, to be transvestigated and attacked by others for looking different. Cis people who support these bans are cruel, misguided, or/and want violence to occur.

Trans rights are human rights. Leave them alone and just treat them like you expect to be treated. It's simple.

Im not aware of limits to people over the age of consent. Below that, it's a child by definition and there are variety of limits in their life and the parents are generally in control.

I've spent no time in their world, so I don't know what rights they lack. They have the same realities the rest of us have... to make good choices for their life.

Personally, I try very hard to stay away from Dr's and people with knives and address my emotional and spiritual and physical issues in natural ways. When it's required, then I go to the knife if there's no other choice.

I know what it's like to have something annoying on the body that needs fixed, I know what it's like to feel emotionally or spiritually bad and have it dealt with. So in some minor way, I can relate , but it's nothing I experienced... to be in a body that doesn't align with what my mind tells me. That to me is an integrity issue. But why it comes out as purely a physical issue doesn't make sense to me. It has to be an emotional, spiritual... hormonal issue as well. I've seen the vidoes of transitioning transitioned back as evidence of a few.

I've also seen young people drawn into these, what I'll call distortions relative to how they are born. People are impressionable and can be convinced of things that are not true to them. So there's a social component.

To me people are free to work out their stuff as far as I know. I'd wonder if people are truly aware of the hormonal, spiritual and emotional impact such has on how one views themselves and how their self image can be distorted. Lots is out there to discover thyself.

I'd even go as far to say that the purpose of the world is to confuse you. That's certainly a goal of our country, so that people waste time and money. Otherwise, we wouldn't provide so much poisonous food, media, information, music, and of course trauma into the minds of developing humans.

The level of cruelty and sheer ignorace in some of the opinions is just sad and disturbing. Just when you think people may have some basic human decency on such issues,, you find the world is full of hateful morons.
