What is the purpose of dating in today’s society? I don’t see a benefit?

True, unlike our boring cavemen great grandparents 100 years ago we can now be jorked by robots. But that doesn't make life meaningful, does it? Do you find so much meaning in whatever you use to relief scrotal vapor that you will give your life to protect it? I don't think so. And if there's nothing that you love that much in life, then no amount of dopamine will make it meaningful. ㅤ

I don't think there is one. And given people attitudes towards it i feel like they only really do it to keep up appearsnces. Because they're certainly not doing it for genuine affection.
