As reported guests of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor amid allegations that women were trafficked to the royal estate. The late Epstein, who was convicted in 2008 of soliciting sex from girls, and Maxwell, who was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking a minor, stayed at Balmoral in 1999.

What bothers me most about this story is the possibility that vulnerable women and girls may have been exploited in places where they should have been safe. Balmoral is not just an ordinary private residence. It carries enormous historical and public significance, so allegations of trafficking connected to the royal estate deserve serious investigation.

I also think it's important not to confuse being a guest at the same location with proof of involvement in a crime. The investigators need to establish what actually happened, who knew about it and whether anyone helped facilitate or conceal any abuse.

What I find particularly disturbing about the wider Epstein case is how long vulnerable girls were failed while powerful and well-connected people moved in influential circles. Those victims deserve more than headlines and public outrage. They deserve answers and accountability, regardless of anyone's title, wealth or connections.

I hope the investigation follows the evidence wherever it leads. Nobody should be above scrutiny when allegations this serious are involved. ❤️
