Why have I spent the last 2 years away from my family stationed in Germany when Americans can’t even be bothered to vote?

Government K-12, the Academy and mainstream media incessant propaganda. You saw little or no bloodshed in Germany, but there is in France. It is coming here in the coming decade. I saw plenty of it in The 'Nam.

The Left has been systematically deconstructing this country since those days, courtesy of the entitled children of the Boomers. They believe in nothing but opposition but will be helpless when they make the shit hit the fan. They will bring about uprising, bloodshed and civil war.

The civil war will be between Patriots and the Democrat/Socialist/Communist Left. Fortunately, Patriots have the vast majority of firearms. Due Process and the Rule of Law will give way to civil war, followed by anarchy and ideological Balkanization.

Our enemies will see the opportunity to move on us, unless Patriots can unify our war/defense machine quickly. If they can't, our Republic is in its last days. Barbarians will be at then gate (again). Trust me, history is never over and the outlook is grim. Democrats have done this to us.
