How do I remove myself from my friend's "Close friends" list?

Like I said, is it possible to do it?

We're just friends from the same class, and when we were sitting next to each other and I posted a status, it popped out on his screen as a notification.

Normally I don't care about it, but it's kinda creepy this time because we were never "good" friends, but we talked and hang out few times.

you can't do anything except block/unfriend him.

he would see your status updates anyways if he scrolled down his Newsfeed.

Maybe he added moderate to close friends on his "close friends" list so that he could go to that section instead of scrolling down through his newsfeed which would include everyone, even classmates that he has never talked to.

you could flip the situation around & see it as a good thing. You talk & hang out & he sees you as someone he'd like to be friends with. Personally, I would be flattered that someone else would care about me & want to be good friends.

i hate that when people think you are a lot more then you really are. I guess all you can do is get over it, tell him you don't like that he has you as a close friend or remove him

You have a point, but I still find it weird that he did it cause we were just average friends.

Picture yourself in this situation with another dude that you know, and it's gonna be weird for you too.

Nah, can't be bothered with social media drama.

Maybe he set it to always notify him? Maybe only you are on his special list. Doesn't matter. Its just Facebook.

You can delete him if you want then you won't be on his list at all.
