What does a guy who can't afford a date expect?

if a guy pursued me and claims to be interested in me, but cannot afford a date like to dinner, movie, nor does he have transportation...what does he want from a woman and what is he trying to get? Does he think a girl who does not know him should feel comfortable hanging out at his apt alone because he claims he cannot take her on a real date?

What do you think he really wants and why or why shouldn't the girl give him a chance? I'm asking to see others opinions on the matter

I won't be dating him, just wanted to see what the general consensus was. I'm not driving to some guy I just met house and sitting around looking at 4 walls with a stranger when I have better offers. And yes he does want sex.

Coming from a guy who's mostly in that exact situation because I'm living on a poor student budget. I just want to spend time with the girl.

I mean, it sucks and makes me feel like I can't offer all that I want to offer at the moment, but I'll offer everything that I do have which is simply myself. If that's not enough for the girl, then I don't want her anyway. Sine it means that if we were to eventually end up together, and times got hard, I couldn't be confident that she'd be there the whole way.

Stop thinking all guys just want to get into your pants. Not ALL guys are like that...

it could be true but I would go on the safe side and say no I don't know you and I wouldn't feel safe hanging out in a stranger's apartment together. if you could take me out on a real date than maybe I would.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as him where I can't afford to go out and even though it would be nice to have a Girlfriend I would much rather work more hours and save up money before asking a girl out on a date.

honestly, nt every1 is born rich, some of us even saved weeks of pocket money or even had to do chores to earn meager amt of cash. mayb he offering you the least but mayb he offering you the very last option he has. the hanging out in the apt I would say keep your guard, but if the guy is poor , cmon cut the guy slack..the end of teh day question is if tomorrow he did have huge amounts of cash and if circumstances changed him to the opposite direction.. WOULD YOU STILL LOVE HIM? to cut it short..put yourself in his place & ask that question..then your heart will truly give you the right answer..wht if he decided to not give you a chance too the same way you are about to do bcz of his financial position, Wouldn't you feel hurt too?

I hope you're really a guy asking such a question. If you live less than a block away from a charming good looking guy then transportation and money should not be an issue.
