lol- I never pretend my life is anything other than what it is. I don't think it's as exciting as say, a political leader or a rock star, but I enjoy my life all the same.
Cool is all perception- and it depends on who I'm with what "cool" stuff I do. For instance- when I hang out with my one friend, we do stuff like go to museums, go skating, invent new dessert reciepes (they sometimes turn out awesome and sometimes don't lol). All that I find fun and cool.
With my best guy friend- I hang out, have a few drinks, try stuff I normally wouldn't (like swimming in the lake after dark, wood-cutting contests and various other activites that sort of push legal boundaries lol), go to bars and play wingman/woman for each other etc. I find that fun and "cool" when we hang out.
When I'm with some of my other friends- we debate politics and current events, talk about the latest books and debate which parts are best, which are worst. I think that's "cool" when I hang out with them.
Other friends I play soccer with, go snowshoeing with, attempt to play volley ball with (I suck). All that's "cool".
At work- I'm a brand new intern (aka jack of all traits), so I do something different every day- going to city hall to file paperwork, updating websites, interviewing people for news items, making calls to set up appointments with potential donors, researching new legislation. All of that is both overwhelming and "cool" when I'm at work.
At home- I love cooking, reading, hanging with my pets, writing in my journal, watching hockey, and a few choice shows. That's all "cool" in my opinion.
None of this really adds up to an exciting life, but I enjoy hanging with all of these people and doing different things with them. I wouldn't call my life boring by any stretch of the imagination, not exciting or terribly unique in most aspects but I enjoy it. I see no reason to make it seem to be more interesting or exciting than it is. Any guy I date is going to end up knowing what my life is really like anyway, so why pretend?
How about most PEOPLE have a boring life and pretend it's interesting? lmao, most people these days constantly keep thinking doing the same thing every weekend of getting pissed with their mates is fun... no it's not fun when they do it EVERY WEEKEND, the same thing over and over and over again plus that is the only time they go out with you. Their lives are not interesting and I don't go out to clubs, I used to till I got bored of it, I got bored of the fact I can't make real connections with people, all people wanted to do was drink with me but they didn't want to be sober around me and that was just so self-defeating because I felt like they never really cared about me enough at all to want to do something that's actually fun that doesn't concern alcohol and pulling guys, surrounded by people that are poisoning themselves to death and nothing more. Generally people who don't go to clubs but try to look interesting are actually not... they lie about their life, they slap on make-up or the guys tight jeans and act like they are something with abs and big sun glasses, but yet again I never really make true connections but with them I would have to act like something I'm not to be around them, but I don't even want to because of the fact they stoop so low and act so desperate to the point they give up their own self-respect. So generally most people don't just have a boring life but they has a very sad life too, I wish the best for them all I do but it really lets you down that a lot of people can't act responsibly any more.
Lol! Yes, that's why so many of them feel the need to broadcast it all on Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook. Trying so hard to get the picture perfect angle of themselves or them and their friends, working so hard to catch a perfect moment in a picture so they can put it on display and then be reconfirmed by the "likes" on FB and "reblogs" on Tumblrs. Which ironically enough are meaningless and only reinforce the idea that "likes" have value when they don't.
If their lives were really all that exciting, they'd be more concerned with LIVING it out to every moment and less concerned with posting it online and getting feedback on what people think.

They post so much it appears they are doing alot. In actuality, they just have a job, go to work, and then go home and sit. They go out on the weekends and live life just like everyone else.
They just try to make themselves appear cooler.

What is boring and what is not, is very subjective. The only way I see that statement holding any relivence is if they are referring to how people 'make' their life look in online social websites. Even so, people aren't making stuff up that they did, or making up people that they hang out with. What they are doing is omitting all the sh*ttyness pushing the fun stuff to the fore front. It's like they want other people to think they have a better life than they do, or maybe, they just don't want to share the hard life stuff with people who might as well be perfect strangers. Heck, even I do it. I'm going to tell people if I'm going to a cool concert or on vacation but they aren't going to hear all about my most recent break up or a death in the family.
Depends what you think makes life interesting. I go out a lot, I meet new people that's what I'm interested in, I don't think I'm boring but other people might. I like being spontaneous too though, like just going for a walk at 2 am, or deciding to just sit in the house invite a bunch of friends over and drink/watch a movie or whatever. If I'm bored of home I'll text a friend and ask if I can come over. I have more than one job and the timetable is different every week, don't really go to any clubs but do have church on Sunday's. Love planning parties/event/set ups whatever will make life more exciting lool.
No, my life's pretty interesting, or that's what people tell me. Most girls have a way more interesting life than guys do. All my guy friends are always doing the same stuff every weekend. We just stop by and hang out for a bit, or vis versa.. Always the same. Except yes, sometimes I lie.. For example my crush was texting me, I told him I was sleeping (because I was sick). The next day he texted me, I was still stuck in bed, so I lied and told him I was doing what my friends had invited me to do that night. For the most part, girls like to go out more, at least with my friend group.
Yeah I've got a pretty boring life, lol. Today it was snowy, so I didn't feel like going, so I spent my afternoon working on a 4D puzzle of London I bought. Most people I know who found that out told me it's so weird that a 26 year old likes putting puzzles together. I can't help it. It's challenging, and they look good when they are done. This is my first 4D puzzle and I can't wait to be done. Yup, I'm very old for my age. I did drink Friday night though.
Im sure some people do, I don't think I have a boring life though, I am studying a degree which I love, 3 volunteer jobs which are fun and rewarding, play lead trumpet in an orchestra and I try to go out with friends at least 2-3 times a wk. Life's what you make it!
boring is very subjective. the things I find intresting you might find them boring. I say I have an average life. I like spending time with my family and friends at the comfort of my home. I don't like to go out much. but yes at the same time when I do go out it becomes freaking hell crazy fun. to me its a balanced and average life. at the same time it can be dull to some and extraoridany to some others... :)
Boredom is indeed very subjective. I enjoy living my life and I wouldn't change it for anyone else's, but I'm sure many other people think it's boring as hell. Having tons of cool guys and girls do cool stuff with you wouldn't make a boring life any less boring for a person who finds it boring themselves.
I work full time and am usually too tired by the weekend to do anything but sleep, watch movies and catch up on cleaning and stuff. Even when chillin with friends it's generally low key- like watching Planet Earth and drinking beer. I have a crazy night here and there but nothing like what you might see on MTV or something.

There are a lot of strange quotes on the Internet that have no basis in reality. I don't know many people who pretend to be doing things that they aren't. Whether or not the things they are doing satisfies them is another story. But there aren't tons of hot chicks sitting around photoshopping pics of them with guys with six packs to put on Facebook to taunt you, though.
Well I think it really depends on how you define boring. But I don't go out as much as people might think I am and usually I do things alone. I think I am more towards spending time with my family than my friends. Plus it seems to me that going out like to club and bars, have a certain amount of risk there. I mostly do what I am comfortable and at ease with.

welcome to the age of the internet. No one does anything fun anymore. well sometimes but rarely. All I have is school plays and the cast parties that come with doing school plays that's really it though.
Most people have ordinary lives, which in general are pretty boring. But they don't want people to think so, so they pretend that they have fun lives. I don't see why they don't just go out and find fun things to do if they care so much.

What a strange question. Everyone is different...so everyone has a different opinions about what is boring and what isn't also we all have a different lifestyle so others may be more secluded than some.
Some people have cool lives and some don't. What you consider "cool" is extremely subjective. What one person really enjoys, the next think is boring. Hardly anyone's life is nonstop fun, though. Most everyone has to do the daily grind.
I make my life boring. Because its comfortable that way. It depends on how you personally want your life to be. Physical appearance and gender has nothing to do with it.

In my life, I have some insane nights and some boring days, but I don't exaggerate anything I do. Maybe if I'm drunk or high I won't remember something correctly, but I'll clarify if I don't.
