Is it hot if a guy likes romance movies?

Movies like the vow, the lucky one, Dear John, etc. Twilight. well twilight is more vampire, but you get the idea. I love watching romance type movies.

I am surprised at all the women comments! I thought women would love their guy to watch romance movies with them! I love it when my hubby watches any romance movie with me, because he says he hates them (I know he secretly likes them, because who doesn't like seeing two people fall in love?). The only thing I don't care for, is if it's sad, and I cry, and to keep himself from seeming sad, he says things like, "Aw...are you crying?" in kind of a mocking tone. I know it's just him acknowledging that it's sad, and he's trying to lighten the mood a bit. So to sum it up, I think it's hot when a guy likes more romantic movies, apparently, that's just me.

It isn't to me personally because I don't like the romance genre, but a majority of girls I know would find it sweet/appealing (not necessarily hot). Definitely attractive. Girls like being able to do things (like watch movies) with a person who also enjoys those same types of things. It's called compatibility. Higher compatibility = better relationship.

I really dislike those movies so for me it would be a deal breaker. However, I think there are definitely some girls that would be attracted to a guy who likes "The Notebook" and stuff like that. I don't think it would be hot per se but some girls would probably think you were really sweet/sensitive/romantic/boyfriend material

notebook 3 times and other romance movies as well . . and he is a great guy!

Hot? No. I don't like them really. I like comedies more. Twilight sucks, by the way. My boyfriend and I went to see The Vow in theaters last year for V-Day and spent the entire movie making exaggerated faces at each other and laughing like morons in the back. :)

I like some of them, so I wouldn't mind if a guy liked watching them with me. I'm more than willing to watch his movies with him, so if there are certain chick flicks or romance movies I like and I want him to watch them with me, I'd be happy about that. Although watching Twilight wouldn't be a turn on for me. I hate those movies.

Not hot. I don't like to watch them with guys. I only like to watch them alone sometimes but only if they are comedies as well, straight up is boring. I'm not too big on them. Most of the girls who like them want it in real life. They usually show it to their guys so the guys have an idea of what romance looks like. I'd rather watch comedies, horror, and adventure with a guy.

i wouldn't care much as long as I wasn't being forced to watch them. but id be a bit worried and think the guy was very emotional and kinda cheesy. id still try to look past it though. everyone is free to like whatever they want.

I think it is tolerable up until it starts to affect the way you act. I don't about other girls but I don't like a guy who shows as much emotion as I do on a daily basis.
