My girlfriend says she is wasting her time by being with me. How I convice her otherwise.

While she was upset and nagging about the so many things she found wrong with me, she said "I cannot believe I am wasting my time with you, gosh" and "I am wasting my college years with you. I should be dating someone else, meeting other people." "I am wasting the best years of my life, gosh."

I think I have been a decently good boyfriend though. I always tried to empower her and I think it shows in her outlook to life which is much better now than it was. How can I convince her our relationship can be good? Is it even worthy?

This is very disrespectful language, but behind it, maybe she is just feeling trapped, and not ready for an exclusive relationship with ANYONE..so she tries to find justifications for breaking up, without analyzing her feelings.

Not many people are willing to dissect why they feel a certain way. And she probably feels guilty about wanting to break up, so she looks for 'reasons' to justify herself.

Ask her if she's just restless, and if she isn't feeling that she wants to enjoy her college years single, rather than with ANYONE... She might not even be consciously aware that she's feeling trapped. But when she thinks about it, I bet she'll tell you that it really isn't because of your faults. It's just that she wants her freedom

She just isn't ready to settle down yet.

This situation calls for a break, a time for both of you to get away from relationship pressure. Like all breaks, it likely will turn out to be permanent..but that just means you rushed too much into an exclusive relationship. It's not because of any personality defect.

It's not worth convincing her to be with you since it's clear that she has lose interest in you and is in the verge of breaking it off with you to be with a guy whom she really deem worthy to be spending time with.

She sounds like fricken Napoleon Dynamite. Gosh this and gosh that. If she wants to be free so badly I think you should let her. Next time she says things like that, go ahead, chuck her loose. Say something like, "Okay ... go spend the best years of your life with other guys. Whatever. I'll do the same with some beautiful women." And if she seems shocked, just stand by the door and say something like "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out." I think you deserve better. a significant other who makes you feel bad about yourself is not worth your time or effort. Don't convince her otherwise. Just open the door for her and tell her to do you a favor and leave.
