So my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 3 months but have been a "thing" for about 5 months. None of us have cheated nor have we ever gotten into a fight.
My boyfriend went out to an ugly Christmas sweater party last night after work since he stayed in with his roommates for a guys night I'm assuming the night before that (I don't care if he does those things because I realize just because I'm his girlfriend doesn't mean he has to be stuck to my hip forever, he has his own life like I do). We mainly communicate through Snapchat and the last thing I sent him had to do something with our conversation. I didn't hear from him all night. I don't even know who he was with because the guys he mainly hangs with are his roommates and I was Snapchatting his brother-in-law and they were at my boyfriend's apartment. I don't even know where this party was at. But I brushed all that off and just went on with my night (which I stayed in and did nothing again) and went to bed later. I wake up and I see that his Snapchat score went up by quite a bit so I'm assuming that he was Snapchatting after I fell asleep (which was about 2 am, I was checking). The thing that I find the most weird is how I just didn't hear from him at all. When he goes out he'll usually be Snapchatting me the whole time or we Snapchat a couple of times throughout the night. I know his phone may have died or something like that but it would've been nice to hear from him whenever he got back and could've been Snapchatting other people. I know I can't jump to conclusions yet or anything but it just worries me because I have major trust issues when it comes to relationships. I'm going to be really angry at him if I don't hear from him today about this party (I know this is petty but I'm not going to try to talk to him unless he talks to me first today talking about the party) and even more angry if I don't hear from him at all. But is there something I should be concerned about? This is the first time this has happened.
