Is dancing two-step with some one cheating???

Well, according to a very determined guy on here, I am basically cheating on my boyfriend when a guy asks me to two-step with him and I agree...even though my boyfriend said that it is OK because my boyfriend hates dancing.

I am not a good dancer by any means, so it isn't an insecurity thing. My boyfriend is not jealous because he knows I wouldn't let anyone cross lines. I love my boyfriend with my whole heart and we have been together for two and a half years. He knows I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize our relationship.

And I two step with my girlfriends to.

Do y'all think that it's cheating for me to dance two-step with girls and guys, and telling the guys that I have a boyfriend..and my boyfriend says it's fine?

Mind you when I go out, I maybe only dance four times and that's it.

Why do so many people try to say something is wrong when they aren't even in the relationship and the two that are in the relationship are fine. UGH

No I wouldn't say so at all. You're with him in a committed relationship and he knows that. He also knows that your dancing with another guy and is alright with that because he hates dancing. If he realizes it and doesn't haven a problem with it I don't see it as cheating at all. If he didn't know and wouldn't want you to then I think it would become more gray area.

Not cheating at all! I swing dance with other girls when I have a girlfriend and its just a dance.

I can see how it might be considered cheating by the other guy. if the two are just friends or are not interested in each other, like you just wanting to dance, with the guys hand on the hip, girls hand on the guys bicep or shoulder and the two have a noticeably "large" gap between the two of them I wouldn't see a problem. if the guy has his arm wrapped around the girls lower back, and the girl has her arm wrapped around the back of his neck and there is nearly no space between them, almost like they are grinding, I could see how the body language there could give the impression your girlfriend/boyfriend doesn't appear to be faithful.

I can see how some dances could be seen as cheating, since some of them aren't much different than a lap dance, but the two step is a really innocent dance. Everyone has different standards for what is cheating. As long as you are honest with your boyfriend and he is okay with it, I would say whatever the two of you agree on would not be cheating.

This is all about the comfort level of those in the relationship. If you and your partner know you would not cross any lines that you have set as a couple then there are no issues. I was on the opposite end of this in 2 previous relationships. I love to dance and for me it was more about an outlet for creative expression and never anything sexual with another person.
