Is 20 years old too late to start practicing a sport you wanna go pro in?

No, It's not too old. I started racing just 2 1/2 years ago. And I am now competing against and sometimes beating, other drivers that started their racing careers at 7 years old with carting. And in the short time I've been racing, I have gone from the British GT championship in GT4 cars, to the European and Asian Le Mans Series in LMP2 cars. It's a little different with basketball, but it's not like you're 30 and trying to go Pro. You might not end up in the NBA, but a lot of countries have pro leagues.
Thank you for MHO
I don't think it's possible in Basketball, for me I've decided to try to go pro in Ultrarunning over the next few years and that's very much possible because of the long enduring nature of the Sport. Everything that requires a lot of technique or quick movement isn't easy to pick up after 20 because of how our body works
I've you've never played basketball at all prior to turning 20, it's gonna be long shot aspiring for the professional leagues. If you have above average ball skills already, you'll have better chances.

Hell no 20 years old is even younger than your prime.
It probably is, especially if you have to start practicing it.
No way! Some people wait until they're 40!
It's not impossible. But most people start young
