Many pool changing room has differences cut off age of mother to bring in their son into the female changing room. So pools changing room is 5 years old and others go up to the age of 12 years old. Some pools have unisex children changing room which is up to 12 years old. What has been your experience with this at your pool?
I'm generally ok with the mother's discretion, some kids just need more help. But I'd say by 10 they should be old enough to take care of business on their own and know what kind of behavior isn't right for their safety.

I would say up to age 7, 8+ kids should be responsible enough to wait outside.
