I think you take less of a beating overall in MMA due to shorter fights, more types of offense (instead of just punching to the head and body), there’s no count out so they can’t just keep getting back up after being knocked out, and many fights being won through submission. Of course there are outliers considering you can kick people in the head but I think it’s better than 12 rounds of constant hands
