The Doctor could palm a basketball.
I hate that he's wearing a Sixers uniform here - that's sacrilege - but it illustrates well The Doctor's famous hands and ability to palm a basketball.
However, this picture shows him in action and you can see the size of his hands.
This picture is from the 1976 ABA Championship in which the New York Nets defeated the Denver Nuggets. This was the last ABA Championship before the merger with the NBA that brought in the New York Nets, Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, and Denver Nuggets. Sadly, Net's owner Roy Boe had to sell The Doctor to the Philadelphia 76ers to get money to pay the fucking New York Knicks for indemnity because the Nets played in the Knicks market. Fuck the Knicks!

THIS IS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
This is a close up reprint in a 2006 issue of Stuff magazine of a picture Larry Berman took when The Doctor was with the Nets. Look at how easily The Doctor is palming the ABA basketball.![Can you palm a basketball?]()

+1 yI say yes! I'll strike a pose, palming that basketball, then distract you so you look away, so I can let go because I actually can't do it. But I'll play it cool.
