Women's college basketball is way more competitive than the WNBA so the stats mean more.

She made $3 million in 3 years at college while doing her degree. College stars aren't going to the WNBA because they earn more at college. For instance she's already made as much as Brittany Grinner.

She gets free room and board at college

Average game attendance at iowa college is 11,000 while in the WNBA its 5000. The highest attendance in the history of the WNBA was 20,674 and that was over 25 years ago while last year Iowa college had 55,000 in attendance.

The WNBA is a failed league propped up by the NBA. They just can't get spectators and sponsors.

It would be like Jalen Hurts leaving the NFL to player in less competitive less well paying leagues like the XFL or USFL.
