Actually I think a lock like that used to be a common prank when I was in high school to sneak up behind on someone and put them in a lock pretty much like that judging from the pics. Also sometimes a chokehold but very often a lock involving wrapping under from the armpits.
One time a guy tried that on me at the schoolyard during recess and I just instinctively bent over and flipped him over on his back. Ended up shocking everyone even though I wasn't trained to do that or anything. Was just my gut reaction.
I'm not sure if it was that exact lock but very similar with arms wrapped underneath our armpits and pushing our head that way with hands clasped together. Also the guy was only slightly bigger than me. If a pro wrestler pulled that move on me, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to get out of it.

Yeah I've tried it when I was young.. it's really effective when you do it and also super painful when you receive it.. and my advice if someone puts you in a masterlock, just hit them in the stomach or groin area using your butt lol.. It's kinda silly but also very effective 🤣..
I lifted & flipped over an opponent of nearly the same weight & built as she (who's slightly taller) tried to keep her full-Nelson lock on me.
I successfully kept repeating that tactic on others until it finally failed on someone much bigger and heavier than me.

Used a lot by My late consort in brutal Wrestling matches, with our friends Her and I, She was the best sort of Female.
And by brutal I mean one or more of use was laying in the grass out of breath and or sore the next morning.
Taught both sides to use it and it's 'Weaker cousin' the Double Nelson in Ringolevio games, most of the Girls didn't use it too often as either they forgot in the heat of play or they didn't have the stomach for the physical challenges the game possessed.
As far as a fighting technique it is a effective restraining hold with a few caveats being exposed feet and fingers that are within reach, uncomfortable but not harmful barring it's use on those with weak spines or bad shoulders.I’m a former amateur wrestler and I have been to professional wrestling school so there’s your wrestling right there
