Since DiJonai Carrington stuck her long fingernail in Caitlin Clark's eye, should long fingernails be banned from women's basketball?

Yes, absolutely. Long nails have no place on a basketball court. How that's been allowed is insane - but the whole league has been insane from its inception.
More importantly, though, is the unsportsmanlike conduct, which should be dealt with. Again, in this clown-show league, everything is based on politics rather than sports, so if you are of the preferred race and sexual orientation, you get away with things, and if not, you don't. The WNBA cares far more about politics and leftist-activism than it ever did about sports, and this whole situations reveals that in ways that cannot be denied. People used to dismiss it before, but it can no longer be dismissed - there have been far too many examples of it on live TV, and far too many people have seen it with their own eyes.
And the WNBA is going to get a fantastic lesson on this principle. Tons of people who never paid any attention to the WNBA (and didn't have any idea how corrupt and political it was) now know exactly how awful it is, and they won't be back, and even existing die-hard fans have walked away, as have advertisers. I see the league dying a slow death surrounded by indifference from the public, but the people in charge are so political that I don't see them learning anything.
Poor girl, she made basketball 🏀 she wasn’t even invited to the women’s Olympic Team she should have been and she is now being bullied ever since she stepped into the women’s league. She’s changing salary prices to. To many racist out there against her

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar , the 7'2″ tall player always stayed protective of his eyes after suffering two eye injuries. The first one was a corneal scratch in 1968, while the second injury was in 1974. With time, the protective goggles became a part of 6x NBA champion's identity and legacy.
Instead why not teach these women how to behave like ladies and not animals.
Working in industry. When something causes death or injury. Whatever it happens to be. It is usually banned or highly regulated.
From the picture. It sort of looks intentional.
Well, suspended for at least half of next season if it's determined to be deliberate.
Holy shit. That's not just a foul; that's criminal assault. I would press charges.
At this rate, she will be severely injured and the WNBA will fade back to obscurity.
How are they not already banned?
And yes she poked her on purpose.
You can play basketball with long fingernails?
IKR? That shouldn't be even allowed on the court at all, period. When I was playing sports, we weren't even allowed to have jewelry or anything.
Seems to be big fouls on the refs!
They should be banned in general.
