5. Robots

If you don't know the difference between an android and a robot GTFO!!

6. Cyborg

I hope that guy practiced with a hot dog first, or else he could have just ripped his dick off.

7. Freakin' Lasers

8. "Do Try This At Home" Science Experiments

This experiment blew my mind when I took my introductory physics course in college. Everyone try this at home now!!!

I close with this one because my life long goal is to pass the Alan Turing test test one day and maybe even pass the Ada Lovelace test of having an artificial intelligence which can "create".

Parallel processing is the gold standard since we hit a wall at the 4GHz clock frequency for modern CPUs. That's not my point, though. It's that Blackberry's suck.

My point isn't that it's better, my point is that the general public will see more processors as better and thus demand will be for 8 cores over 4.
It will suck, but the public will demand it just like they demand the iPhone has dual core.

Yes, I agree. To a certain degree, it will be better as more multi-threaded software is (hopefully) written, or at least as OS schedulers make better decisions regarding hardware topologies. I'm skeptical that either of those two things will happen, though.

Yes, those things can benefit humanity. I think regenerating body parts and anti-aging technology shouldbe on the list.

Anti-aging would be terrible for multiple reasons. The first problem would be who would get this new technology? Odds are it won't be everybody so it would be the powerful stay powerful forever. The second problem would be who would want that? Unless all your friends and family take this as well, you will see all of them die and would you really want to keep making new friends and watching them die.
