DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a MGHOW but this is one crucial thing I fully agree with MGTOW.

I mean which guy with at least some amount of self respect wouldn't?

Just because I am an adult male human being doesn't mean that I will do the same as the others with the same sex *stereotypically* would or already do. Gender is mostly a binary property of an organism.

Here is the list of what I refuse to do just because of my gender:

1. Being dominant

and neither a submissive doormat. I don't believe in this. I'm more like a loner, not a leader and not a follower. I am one.

2. Be ripped

I am not into it and not into sports. Maybe some time later when I can afford self-defense classes but I don't aim for being ripped.

3. Acquire a high status

I will do what I think is best.

Besides I rather have people not know about my status whether it's low or high.

4. Make lots of money or be rich

I'm no sugar daddy. I'm a living human being with feelings and emotions and I can be tired also. I balance work and private life and health.

I'm no machine!

5. Bang as many women as possible

Sex is truly undeniably fantastic! But banging as many hot women as possible is what I would consider not a good idea. I would only end up being broke faster than I'd expect to. It also carries risks and gives me a bad reputation of being a player.

I mean there is nothing wrong about casual hook ups but I prefer to have one loyal lady for myself if she can keep up with my extremely high sex drive.

I am selective about who I would have sex with because sex is - as I see it - an act of love and sharing honor.

6. Drink beer and alcohol

Not even a small shot of vodka.

It's not for me. I prefer coke or pepsi with ice cubes instead.

But mostly I drink clean water.

The great thing about alcohol is the funny feeling. The only reason I do not drink it is because it tastes too gross and I do not consume things, that taste gross.

7. Marriage and kids

This lifestyle does not suit me at all. I did not do much in my life and I have so many plans in the future. A family with marriage and kids would block my plans and wishes.

Besides, marriage is a scam to me. It involves the government in my life again as if they have not enough control over me.

8. Be really "manly"

I will always be myself no matter what and disregard silly stereotypes and male/female treats.

For example I like pink and wouldn't mind wearing it.

And watch MLP instead of football.

And be calm and nice instead of aggressive.

9. Be "Successful" by others definition

Do not be fooled by the quote marks including "successful" because everyone's success is defined differently.

I have my own way of being successful and that success is what I will strive for, not what is pre-defined by the others. I can think for myself.

10. Wear suits

It is just me but I feel not like myself wearing suits. Far from it. I prefer free and my unique style.

I like wearing a fedora hat and coats and heavy boots. Fashion is something I have to keep discovering more and find my own style.

So this is it.

I'm a confident young man and I figured these things.

There is research on this. One of the problems in the relationship between males and female are the gender rules which some women put on the male in what he is to do and how he is to do it. For example, He is to pay all activities. The reason why my wife and I get along so well is there are no double gender rules. We are equal as parenting for our kids. A tip for you females who date. You can do what ever you want. As a man you are inherently driven to do all of these things. If you cannot perform in any one of these things that you listed, then it's not to be mistaken as a choice. This just means that you are genetically inferior and/or refuse strive for a competitive edge.

1) In other words, you are mediocre because you don't have the ability to step up to the plate and lead, yet you're not a doormat at the same time. I beg to differ with this last part. You've never been put into a situation to where you really need to step up to the plate. If you truly have this mindset, then you'd become a doormat whether you want to do or not. 2) Having low bodyfat and being muscular is universally attractive. It correlates to strength and high testosterone. Something that we look at in a very positive lens on a biological level. Someone who has the required discipline to have a built physique possesses a lot of positive traits outside of the physical aspect.

3) In other words, you're mediocre again. You see people surpassing you and your default is to give up instead of competing. Humans in general are naturally competitive and you saying that you don't care is most likely a lie because of the fact that this is natural. This clearly displays a lack of confidence in your abilities.

4) Having a lot of money means you are successful and have a high quality of life. It means you have the freedom to do what you want and have the ability to dominate your way to the top. People who say that money is the root of all evil are broke guys who never made it. Money gives people a better quality life.

5) So in other words, women are not attracted to you enough for you to have the ability to fuck on a casual level? Unless you a hormonal deficiency then you crave sex everyday. This is not by choice. I think you saying that you are selective is just an excuse. Surely there are younger men who look at sex from that perspective. That is, an emotional sacred perspective. 6) I don't drink a lot of alcohol either. If I did, I wouldn't have the physique that I do today. If you're the type of guy that won't casually grab a beer with the guys or go to a club once in a while then you're limiting yourself of a lot social events that occur in a young mans life. It is not a study, it is men yelling over the internet and on Fox News about feminism and political correctness. Those are all the MGTOW people I have seen.
As for the people you mentioned: they are basically working class conservative types who have hit hard times and decide to blame it on society. Men had those problems 100 years ago before women had any rights at all. Not my definition of manly (manly of course is a subjective term). I go by my father's definition of manly: a man is resilient, a man never gives up and a man does things nobody wants to do, but needs to be done. Being chivalrous to ungrateful women is something that needs to be done whether you like it or not.
