What's the difference between when a person mute you versus when they ignore you and when someone removes you on Facebook Messenger?

I've been told that you are moved to spam as a message request someone has ignored or meet you. And when you remove someone from Messenger as far as disconnecting them to contact you. Does that typically show on their end. Like me and a person on messenger are having a bit of an issue and I think that my message has either been ignored or mute. But it still says connected when I type there name. What can it be?

You Mute Someone - When they send you a message, it won't appear in your notifications, but the message arrives and you can read it.

You Ignore Someone - If they message you, it won't appear in your notifications and the conversation will be moved to your Spam folder. They will not know this.

If you remove someone from Messenger, they are not connected to you.

If you block someone on Messenger, they can't message you and they will not be notified that they are blocked.
