  Also maybe the hard drive is full or has mallware probably it would be a good idea first to just reformat the disc

uninstall old shit programs, make sure hard drive isn't full, CCleaner, Defrag, reboot, turn off shit windows defender, run msconfig and kill all shitty startup programs.

Back up all your personal files and do a factory reset.

It will take a few hours to reset but your computer will run faster.

Depends on your situation. Maybe You have to many things on your drive. Yoh need about 20% free of space for your computer to run smoothly.
