How does someone get your number from TELEGRAM if you have your settings so that nobody can view it? Is Telegram glitching?

I don't know, but this is exactly why I've been trying to get Telegram for my laptop without using my phone to sign up. Haven't succeeded unfortunately!

I think not... I signed up some years ago using my phone i think... then deleted it from my phone... then some time again got it on my laptop and have been using it there since mainly

Yeah--in theory you need a phone, but apparently there was once a way to use a shared burner number from the internet to set it up and then you'd be good to go. I haven't been able to get that to work.
