Do you think we need to paint the road white?

This morning it was snowing and the road was white. And I liked it because everything is visible. Maybe we need to paint the road white and there will be less accident?

2 issues i see are one during bright sunny days, the reflect could be very dangerious

second would be during the night hours. the white/yellow hash marks reflect a lot easier against a dark surface to distinguish between the different lanes.

Im conditioned in such a way that when i see white roads i know that its dangerous to drive in if no cautious

It could case a major mess. The time to pain roads white then let it completely dry then add all the lines back on the roads. The white lines would have to be a different color. I believe it would be too much white and the sun shining onit would cause the reflection to be dangerous. How dangerous it would be would depend on the percentage of reflected light the paint would cause. Provably cause more accidents than we already hsppen on average.

It could cause people to not want to drive anymore especially those with eyes that are sensitive to light. That could cause not enough people delivering certain products like food

White road will have a higher albedo effect, meaning sunlight is reflected and the lethal airborne disease global warming won't be contracted. Let's forward this idea to mister thunderberg.

The maintenance costs and time would be excruciatingly high. Those costs would be passed down to drivers. No thank you.
