Have you ever been hacked before? Which of your information would frighten you to be stolen?
All of it, I think the government needs major laws, requiring business that let our data be hacked pay each of us a million dollars per hack.
Usually they just give free credit monitoring for a year, as if my info won't change in a year... and then wash their hands of it.
Who am I kidding though, the government gets hacked all the time too.
If you have bad credit, then nothing to be worried about but if you have a high credit score and trying to buy a house or something and found someone has stolen your identity it will take years to clear up and there goes that house, not to mention interest rates could go up, thus costing tens of thousands of more dollars on smaller house in the future.
Entities that store and collect data, need to be held responsible and when a hack happens, people need to go to jail in the business for failure to protect data. If company allows a hack to happen, the CEO and executives should all have to serve five years minimum. That ought to light a fire under the butts of companies to prioritize protecting data.
Some aspects that already happens due to HIPAA, if a entity using PHI and other protected information gets hacked, they get serious fined and people can go to jail, individual employees can be fined, rather than just the entity.
Somehow our medical history has somewhat decent protections/penalties but not the financial side.

Yeah when I was 19 - 26 I had a hacker and they kept breaking through my email accounts and pretending to be me to people on my contact list. I may have lost my best friend because of it. I do not know why she ghosted me one day but I think it might be related to the stalker impersonating me online. She once loved me like her own family and later hated me with a passion and I never found out why.
“The hackers”…. ell oh ell! Sure.
MOST internet users understand that multinational corporations have been stealing and selling our data for decades now, but we’re supposed to be afraid of “hackers”? Ell oh ell! There are laws against hackers accessing “privileged” information, but there are no laws against those corporations doing THE EXACT SAME THING. Most of the people under 30 i’ve broached the subject with just don’t care. “Hackers” is just a slang term meant to scare you into GIVING your information to corporations that will do the exact same thing with it. Anyone who suggests otherwise is a fool or has something to gain by spreading misinformation on the matter.
It is because of news like this I just use the secure folder on Samsung phones. All my sensitive data is stored in this secure folder and not in the open environment, our normal interface.
As for the email IDs or usernames that may have been stolen or hacked from Facebook or other companies, the email IDs are temporary ones.
They are interlinked with one another, eventually leading to my true email IDs. The ones that I actually use. But the trail is cut short there only, when that particular email account is deleted.
Hopefully this gives some security. Or does it? Can you tell me?

Probably already got mine, I get so many spam calls on my phone, fishing emails and I also had to put a freeze on my credit , they even tried to get unemployment in my name 2 years ago while I was working so that didn’t work , these lazy people just don’t want to work and make an honest living it seems these days
I only use Twitter for my "alternative life". For instance, my account here is part of that "alternative life". Unlike here, I don't tweet or retweet and only follow a few other Twitter accounts. There is nothing in my real life that connects me to Twitter, so I don't care.
To be honest, I was a part of a scene group back in the day and know a fair few guys who are still part of that game.
As a result I know full well how to dodge most of the common tactics.
Even on that twitter dump, you will not find me, despite my content being on there!
As it relates to Social Media and hacking, I have had an account on any simply because it is a way to gather data and often they are a governmental tool. I am not worried
the only one to be a concern would be my banks'
ironically... the two times someone committed fraud with my accounts... it was some people working within that bank lmao...HA 😅 I would say that my bank info or maybe social security or something that someone could steal my identity
Only my bank stuff, everything else is pretty much boring I guess
Im very boring, let them try and copy me. I will turn it back on them and ask them "why would a prince or someone in the military would want to be a nobody like me
I really do not have anything that would affect me if it got hacked.
I've never put anything online I'm worried about.
Exactly why I do so little over the web like I have no online banking and just 1 card I use to receive and make online payments
😆😆😆 why not just ask "Do you have anything worth stealing"?
Do you want to know my pin number as well? 😆😆😆
From which services? I can't tell if I am affected but if I get random scammer calls, then I know my contact information was put up for sale.
Maybe you should buy several, "just in case".
