Do you believe that Apple deliberately designs the built-in apps on iPhone as useless and irritating as they can be?

I noticed that the Calculatpr app does not have any history function. And I am habitual to that, being a Samsung user.
So I went on the App Store in search for one and found it. It was free with limited functions and required a 2. something dollars as a one time payment.

I paid it. And then it clicked to me. Nearly every Apple built-in app for the iPhone has bad ratings. And naturally people shift to the third party apps, which are paid, indirectly.

But Apple gets 30% of the amount paid. Thus earning money this way as well.

I say, dirty, but really clever by Apple.
