I’m hearing of this company Masimo. They’re going after Apple because of Apple Watch. Is this legal?

You haven't explained WHY Masimo is seeking legal recourse against Apple, and you haven't described ANY of the evidence that might support Masimo's claims, so I cannot speak about the merits of their claim. You judge a claim AFTER you've heard the evidence, not BEFORE.

Does Masimo have the right to pursue claims against Apple in court. Yes, of course they do, at least in the US. If Masimo's claims are not well founded, it may eventually be ordered to pay Apple's legal fees incurred in defending itself, and that is the risk that Masimo knowingly assumes when it begins litigation.

In the end, it doesn't matter what you or I think of their claims. That will be decided in court.

My opinion is that you should read and see what the masimo company is going after Apple to see if the Apple company is doing something about the Apple watch and also stay calm and relax and I don't think that it will be iegal to see what is going on.
