Does your phone have an extreme battery saver setting that is supposed to be used when the battery gets too low?

Mine has such a setting and it is completely useless because if you turn on that setting it means the phone can't be used for basically anything. Maybe 911 but that would be about it. Do you use it or is there something I'm missing about it?

I think I saw that in mine but I don't use it. Even when GPS and bluetooth are on because I'm using strava I still get over a day's battery on it. I'm pretty good about plugging it in overnight or in the car. It does charge super-fast so it'll get right in about 90 minutes or less I think, with everything still turned on.

hmm... the low power mode on my iphone lets me do pretty much everything I usually do with my phone...

That begs the question: why not have it on all the time and extend the battery life?

@goaded I think it limits background apps downloading stuff like weather or email or whatever. If you don't care about that then yeah, works great. That's what I did with my real personal phone in Iraq and I only charged it like once or twice a week.

LG (KE850). It was a gift from an ex. The phone lasted longer than her.
