Did you see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis)?

Do to a severe solar storm that caused a large sunspot cluster and solar flares, the northern half of the US is getting a chance to see the Northern Lights tonight.

You might not see the amazing colors with the naked eye and it will kinda look like streaks. BUT, make sure you have your cell phone and snap a few pics! You'll be amazed!!

Those who would like to try and see the lights should find an open area with a clear view of the northern horizon. You’ll need to be far away from city lights. Allow your eyes time to adjust for the best chances of seeing the lights. Our best chance at seeing the lights will come between 11 PM and 4 AM.

No! Sadly I live way too far south to be able to see them! But I would have loved to have seen them. But I believe those pictures were taken in Michigan’s upper peninsula in August of 2023. Or are they just nearly identical to the Aurora that was visible in Michigan back in last August? Honestly, I’m truly curious.
