I use chatbots sometimes for advise si they aren't terrible. But I don't think they are needed here on GAG. I mean, the whole point of coming here is to get human opinions and experience. After all, there isn't usually a completely right or wrong answer to life's dilemmas. A chatbot can use logic (I'm very emotional so sometimes I like a logical opinion for balance) but it cannot truly understand all the varied meaning of behaviour in humans.

@TommyMountainFigure well exactly. I don't understand anyone! Lol. I barely figure myself out. We can only use our best judgement and opinion. Based on our experiences in life and experiences we see in those around us. Chatbots use a best guess system too. But based on logical outcomes and mathematical statistics (most probable). But humans very often do things opposite to logic and like going against the grain of society haha

@TommyMountainFigure the human brain is plagued by "what if". After all... logic only exists after trial and error (if we keep our eyes on the road it is logical to presume we will be less likely to have a car accident). We know this from the billions of people who did take eyes off road and crashed lol. But the what if... oh. Well what if we let a AI drive the car? Or scan the road? Does the logic still hold true? Only by trying the what if can we adjust the logic.

No no don't apologise. Driverless vehicles are commissioned to be all over the UK roads from 2025/6 for many different purposes. I would like to discuss the logical side of that!

I know full well people are going to get run over by them, I also know terrorists are going to be able to hack them, and have them drive into crowds of people, government buildings etc..
But like you said.. when we've have to learn not to take our eyes off the roads.. People who are in charge of expanding AI, still it seems have to learn that!
