Why are videogames praised for simply not being woke?

I'm 10 hours into Stellar Blade, it's not bad but it's a 7 out of 10 game for me.

I'd imagine it's because a lot of angry, lonely men who call anything that has a minority lead or lgbt content as woke. If it doesn't contain that, it's suddenly the best game ever and the way all games (or movies for that matter) should be made.

Because whenever something's woke, the game or movie story/characters suffer from it. Bad writing in exchange for woke. Stereotypes in a fantasy world in exchange for woke, political correctness. Because they forced this down our throats over and over again, a game not being woke is praised because it feels like a breath of fresh air.

They are not. At least not in general.

Its only a really small amount of people who slap these terms on video games and by doing so they miss out of the greatest games of all times.
