Why guys always think that every app is a dating app?

I saw it several times post that guys looking for date, serious relationship. etc here. Not all guys of course, just some. But still, like aren't there enough dating apps out there?

To be fair, GaG is a site about sex, dating, relationships, and gender interactions. Not an actual dating site per se, but I could see how some people could get to know each other more on here and want to go further. But it's not just guys who do this. I've met women who do the same.

Nah coming to your job on your day off to talk to somebody you like not only looks desperate but stalkerish and like you have no other interests or options out there besides a co-worker, who usually doesn't like that guy back, and will be turned off even more seeing that he showed up to talk to her.

Flirting online is so common and so normal in today's world, I see no issue with it. The people with no ability to meet/date/fuck in real life don't even know how to flirt, let alone on the internet.

You are right. I think it is possible for people to grow close enough over time using a site that talks about sex, dating, relationships and gender interactions for the purpose it is designed to at least think about whether there is something more to be had. Friendship would be a good start. I don't infer that is anything like type of interaction the OP is referring to.
